Directory submissions: MicroLaunch.net, Uneed.best, AwesomeIndie

OK, every new product needs those precious backlinks. Their absence is even flagged as an error on Bing's webmaster tools. Seriously. I didn't know that. A few days ago, I decided to check how Spin The Wheel Of Names is doing on Bing. And, yes, I was quite surprised that the lack of backlinks is flagged as a warning orerror!

So, I rolled up my sleeves and headed over to SaaSHub Submit to post my beloved Spinning Wheel to a few free directories that offer DO-follow links.

My first targets: MicroLaunch.net, Uneed.best, AwesomeIndie.com. Unfortunately, I was surprised to find that two of them now require payments to submit your product at all. I'm looking at you MicroLaunch and Uneed.best. They used to allow FREE submissions... not anymore. I had only "semi-success" with AwesomeIndie. I managed to post my product; but after the submission, it states that there is only a 1% chances of being approved within a few days. That's a bit discouraging.

I will keep everyone posted with my success of posting Spin The Wheel Of Names on the various directories. So far, the best experience has been with SaaSHub.

Best,
Stan

p.s. Spin The Wheel's presence on Bing has been improving gradually. It's up to 600 impressions and about 15 clicks daily as of now. If I extrapolate that, we'll need about 5,000 impressions to receive about 100 daily clicks. I promise to post again once that milestone is reached.
