Stats: 17% month-over-month growth in wheel spins engagement
From 8,000 to 18,000 Monthly Spins: A Transparent Look at Our Growth
I believe that sharing some growth numbers as part of building in public might be interesting to people. So here it is.
In October 2025, Spin The Wheel Of Names recorded roughly 8,000 spins for the month. By February 2026, that number hit 18,000.
This Is Not Parabolic Growth
That's a 125% total increase over five months. Broken down, it works out to approximately 17.6% compound growth month over month. Over the same window, we more than doubled our monthly usage.
Let's be clear about what this is and what it isn't.
This is not a viral explosion. Nobody is writing breathless headlines about our trajectory. We're not doubling every week or adding zeros to our user count overnight. That is OK.
What it is: steady, compounding, directional progress. The kind of growth that comes from people finding a tool, using it, and coming back. The kind that suggests we're solving a real problem rather than riding a temporary wave of attention.
Charlie Munger had a phrase for this sort of thing. He'd say that the first rule of compounding is to never interrupt it unnecessarily. A 17.6% monthly growth rate, sustained and uninterrupted, is not glamorous in any single month. But it is the quiet engine behind every durable business. Einstein probably never actually called compound interest the eighth wonder of the world, but the principle holds — patient, consistent accumulation is almost always underestimated by people chasing dramatic inflection points.
What the Trend Tells Us
Spin The Wheel Of Names is gradually becoming one of the more recognized spinning wheel tools online. Not the biggest. Not the flashiest. But increasingly the one people choose when they want something that works without friction.
The growth tells us a few things worth noting. First, the use case is real. Teachers picking students, teams making decisions, streamers engaging audiences — people genuinely need a simple, reliable way to randomize a choice. Second, the trajectory is heading in the right direction. Month after month, more people are finding us and more of them are staying. Third, we haven't hit a ceiling. The acceleration from January to February suggests there may be more room to run.
What Comes Next
We're not in the business of making predictions. But we are in the business of building something people find useful, and the numbers suggest we're doing that.
Again - 18,000 monthly spins is not a world-conquering figure. It's a foundation. And foundations, built carefully and honestly, tend to hold up the things you build on top of them.
I'll keep sharing the real numbers as we go.
Thanks for being part of the Spin The Wheel Of Names community. If you've used the tool, you're one of the reasons these numbers exist.
Cheers,
Stan
